Job Description

Category Imaging - IR Tech Job Type Travel Discover the vibrant energy of Shawnee, KS—just a stone's throw from Kansas City—where a travel opportunity in Interventional Radiology opens the door to both professional advancement and personal enrichment. Serving at one of the region's largest medical centers, you'll work alongside seasoned experts in a fast-paced, high-volume environment, broadening your practice with leading-edge technology and diverse clinical scenarios. This travel assignment is perfect for expanding your resume, learning new system protocols, and engaging with innovative leadership styles that will inspire and refine your skills.
Schedule:
Days, 10-hour shifts (40 hours per week) Monday through Friday, with the specific day off rotating
Qualifications:
Minimum 2 years' experience in Interventional Radiology, including scrub experience
Preferred:
3 years' IR experience in a large hospital setting; peripheral/neurovascular exposure ARRT Radiography certification required Active Kansas State Board of Healing Arts license in hand prior to submission Experience with Siemens Systems (Artis icono, Artis Q, Artis zee) desired Ability to work in high-volume, siloed units handling diverse procedures Must be nicotine-free (facility requirement) New graduates are not eligible
Responsibilities:
Deliver high-quality imaging and IR support in a fast-paced hospital setting Participate in a range of cases (neck-down with some light neuro overflow) Follow stringent hospital protocols and support outpatient services as needed Float to additional departments within the hospital as required Complete orientation (Mon-Tues general, bi-weekly Wed-Fri nursing) On-call as needed; no weekend or mandatory holiday requirements
