Render appropriate patient care within practitioner's defined specialty and licensure. Serve as necessary on appropriate Medical Staff Committees. Render timely appropriate patient care to meet the: clinical needs of the affected patient population. These activities will be monitored on an ongoing basis through the peer review process. In addition, these activities will result in bi-annual reappointment based on maintenance of licensure, peer review, physician profile record. Performs other duties as assigned. The associate shall follow the applicable safety steps required to perform their duties to ensure safety for themselves and their patients, and be in compliance with Medical Center, State, and Federal safety standards. Examples of such steps may include: performing proper safety procedures and precautions; reporting safety concerns and incidents; using correct lifting techniques and disposing of sharps and infectious waste properly. For Clinical and related positions- The associate must be able to demonstrate the knowledge and skills necessary to provide care appropriate to the age of the patients served on their assigned unit.
