Full-time General Surgeon opportunity at a recently renovated hospital in eastern Kentucky, offering a strong quality of life and access to Lexington within 90 minutes. This is a hospital-employed position focused on bread and butter general surgery with endoscopy procedures and no trauma requirements.
Practice Details
Full-time, employed position
Bread and butter general surgery with scopes
No trauma responsibilities
Shared, light call schedule
Hospital recently underwent a $13 million renovation
Endoscopy suite and multiple ORs equipped with Olympus 190 scopes
All necessary equipment available
On-site anesthesia coverage
Team and Environment
Supportive administration
Collegial and experienced surgical and OR staff
Veteran OR team proficient across all areas of surgery
Strong focus on work/life balance
Qualifications
Board Eligible or Board Certified in General Surgery
Experience preferred
Must be comfortable performing scopes
Ability to practice without robotic assistance
