Job Description

Locums•Martin, Kentucky, Hematology/Oncology Opening (Willing to License)
Start Date:
ASAPAssignment Length:
12 months preferred
Schedule & Shift Details:
8:00am-5:00pm No call Preferred schedule is 3 days per week Client willing to consider 2 providers alternating coverage Flexible scheduling options including 1 week on/off or 2 weeks on/off
Practice Setting:
Outpatient clinic/private practice Solo provider clinic coverage Providers will participate in tumor board discussions
Patient Volume & Mix:
Approximately 15 patients per day Low-volume practice Approximately 20% new patients / 80% follow-up visits Approximately 60% Hematology / 40% Oncology Practice does not routinely manage high-acuity leukemia cases onsite; those cases are referred to tertiary centers
Support Staff & Team Structure:
APP support onsite daily 3 physicians located at Hazard for collaboration/support APPs assist with: Follow-up visits Supportive care visits Documentation and orders in collaboration with physician Dedicated oncology-trained RNs support infusion services during clinic hours Standard medical oncology infusion supervision model
EMR:
Meditech Requirements:
Board Certified in Internal Medicine, Hematology, and Medical Oncology•Required Recent patient-facing experience•Required Willing to license providers Credentialing timeframe approximately 60 days What is great about
