A hospital-based opportunity is available for a Cardiac Surgeon with a strong focus on adult cardiac procedures. This role includes surgical coverage, ICU management, and collaboration with a dedicated cardiothoracic care team in a supportive clinical environment.

Orientation $400/hr. 24h call 4000 with 2 hour gratis. Call back $400/hr after gratis

12 cardiothoracic surgical cases per day

Responsibilities:

Perform adult cardiac surgeryManage post-operative and high-risk patients in the ICUProvide support for structural heart procedures in hybrid OR/cath labCollaborate with multidisciplinary teams

Procedures Include:

CABG (including arterial revascularization and redo cases)Heart valve repair and replacementGeneral thoracic procedures (thoracostomy, bronchoscopy, VATS, lung biopsy, pericardial window)Impella insertion, removal, and managementStructural heart procedure support

Requirements:

Board Certified Cardiac Surgeon RequiredBLS RequiredActive Kentucky License or willingness to obtain PreferredExperience with Impella support RequiredExperience with structural heart procedures RequiredClean background RequiredNPDB Self-Query (within 30 days)
