JN•062026-37667 Locums Emergency Medicine Physician near New Orleans, Louisiana•No Trauma, Flexible Scheduling No trauma coverage and flexible 12-hour shift options create a straightforward emergency medicine assignment that works well for block scheduling. Consecutive shifts can often be arranged to support travel and time off between assignments. Practice & Cases Emergency department coverage for patients of all ages Full-scope emergency medicine procedures including airways, lines, and chest tubes Higher behavioral health volume with dedicated psychiatric support available APP support during daily coverage hours Schedule 12-hour day and night shifts available Ongoing coverage needs throughout the year Flexible scheduling with day, night, or mixed shift options No call responsibilities Requirements Must be an MD or DO Board Certified in Emergency Medicine Active Louisiana license or
IMLC LOQ
required ACLS, ATLS, BLS, and DEA required Logistics Airfare, lodging, rental car, and mileage covered Consecutive shifts may be available to support travel planning We'd be happy to discuss your preferred shift pattern and identify upcoming coverage blocks that fit your schedule.
