Job Description

Primary Care Opportunity Monroe CBOC Monroe, LA The Monroe VA Clinic located in Monroe, LA, has an immediate opening for a full-time, board certified/board eligible Primary Care Physician. Monroe offers a beautiful scenery with rich culture. Where southern hospitality thrives and southern cuisine shines, Monroe, LA will sure keep you entertained. While the city of Monroe is the host to several festivals year-round, you can easily find any reason to celebrate. The Monroe VA Clinic is fully dedicated to providing top-quality medical care by serving and honoring America s Veterans.
Highlights of this position include:
Competitive Starting Salary $215,000 - $230,000
Work Schedule:
Mon-Fri, 8am-4:30pm. Occasional call on weekends Provide comprehensive assessment, diagnostic work-up and clinic intervention to scheduled and unscheduled patients in the outpatient clinic setting Works collaboratively with other health care professionals to accomplish patient, service, and medical center goals, promoting and embracing the Patient Aligned Care Team (PACT) model of care Distinguish between normal and abnormal findings to establish a diagnosis and initiate appropriate response to emergency health problems Order and evaluate diagnostic tests as appropriate, recommend treatment and/or referral Initiate appropriate referrals and consultations to other clinical services Must be a U.S. Citizen. Non-Citizen candidates will be considered if a U.S. Citizen is not found Full and unrestricted license from any U.S. State Board Certified with Family Practice We offer: Predictable work schedules and a focus on quality rather than volume Annual performance bonus up to an additional $15K per year
