Job Description

A healthcare facility in Great Barrington, MA is seeking a Locum Pediatric Hospitalist or Family Medicine Provider. The role involves weekend coverage and participation in a critical access setting. About the

Weekend coverage
Schedule:
1 weekend per month (Friday 7 PM - Monday 7 AM)
Hours:
24-hour call
Setting:
Critical Access Hospital Responsibilities:
The Locum Pediatric Hospitalist will be responsible for: Providing pediatric care in an inpatient nursery/mother-baby unit Responding to newborn resuscitations if needed Collaborating with an onsite adult hospitalist for support Managing low census with minimal admissions Ensuring availability for codes onsite
Qualifications:
Board Certified in Pediatrics or Family Medicine NRP Certification required Active MA License preferred Strong skills in newborn care (>2000g) Proficiency in intubation Experience with CPAP/BiPAP Good communication
Adaptability Reliability Desired Skills:
Experience in similar roles Relevant degree in the field Additional certifications as applicable Critical thinking Empathy in patient care
