Job Description

WuXi AppTec Senior or Principal Pathologist Natick, MA Apply Overview WuXi AppTec Pathologists contribute to a wide range of critical activities within Toxicology, Safety, and Biocompatibility. Testing including but not limited to study evaluation fornonclinical studies spanning all phases of drug developmentfor pharmaceutical industries. This role is either on-site at our Natick facility or remote (this determination will depend on experience and a candidate's level of independent diagnosis). Also, we can hire at the Senior or Principal level depending on a candidate's experience and qualifications. Responsibilities As a study pathologist, attend all key activities of preclinical studies regarding pathology, perform macroscopic and microscopic examination, evaluate pathological data and write comprehensive pathology report Function as a Peer review pathologist, take part in pathology peer review as SOP and protocol required Function as a Principal Investigator, responsible for pathology-related activities Conduct planned, long-term education and training for junior pathologists Communicate with sponsors to answer questions and discuss results regarding the pathology report. Provide consultation to Study Directors on studies. Ensure the compliance of various GLPs, comply with protocol and SOPs during study activities Responsible for conducting toxicology and medical device studies in compliance with
GLP/CNAS
Perform other duties as assigned Qualifications Experience /
Education:
DVM (Doctor of Veterinary Medicine) or equivalent ACVP Board Certification is required 10+ years of toxicological pathology experience in the CRO or pharmaceutical industry This job description does not state or imply that the above are the only duties and responsibilities assigned to this position.
