Job Description

We are seeking a Family Practice Physician for a 1-day assignment in Massachusetts, starting Jun 15, 2026. This role involves rounding on sick patients, managing cases with an addiction component for opioid use disorder, and providing support to mid-level providers. The schedule offers shifts from 8a-4p or 3p-11p, focusing on coordinating patient care. Responsibilities and Duties Round on sick patients within a specified time window. Manage cases with an addiction component for opioid use disorder, with familiarity in prenatal care. Consult with OBGYN providers as needed for specific patient cases. Coordinate patient care primarily with outside hospitals and doctor offices. Provide onsite support to mid-level providers. Conduct daily rounds for approximately 20-30 patients, reviewing their medical issues and detoxification progress. Perform administrative tasks, including collaboration with the dental team for patient clearances and managing email communications. See occasional patients, typically no more than 10 per day.
