Job Description

Massachusetts, Pulmonologist Opening 40 Miles South of Boston Do you know someone that might be a good fit for this position? Please ask about our generous referral fees! A community hospital located within 45 miles of downtown Boston is seeking to recruit a full-time Pulmonologist. The hospital has 175 beds and conducts clinical laboratory tests, including surgical pathology and cytopathology specimens, serving a contemporary suburban community. Position Overview In this role, you will provide comprehensive care to patients with respiratory conditions, utilizing advanced diagnostic and therapeutic techniques to enhance patient outcomes. You will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to develop individualized treatment plans and contribute to ongoing research initiatives aimed at improving respiratory health.

Conduct thorough evaluations and diagnostics for patients with pulmonary disorders including asthma, COPD, and interstitial lung diseaseDevelop and implement personalized treatment plans, utilizing evidence-based practices and the latest advancements in pulmonary medicinePerform procedures such as bronchoscopy and thoracentesis as well as interpretation of pulmonary function tests.

Collaborate with other specialists to coordinate comprehensive patient care and management.

Educate patients and their families on disease management, treatment options, and lifestyle modifications.

The primary role for this position is in the pulmonary specialty with optional role as an intensivist (1:5 weekly call schedule) in the BID - Plymouth Critical Care Unit. Qualifications MD or DO degree required.

Board certification/eligibility in Pulmonology Must qualify for a Massachusetts medical license.

Proficiency in interpreting advanced pulmonary diagnostic tests
