In this vital role, you will provide comprehensive primary care services, promote health and wellness, and support patient-centered treatment plans across diverse populations. Responsibilities Conduct thorough patient assessments including physical examinations, vital signs, and medical history intake to determine health status and develop appropriate care plans Administer injections, medications, and treatments such as botulinum toxin therapy and dermal fillers following aseptic techniques and HIPAA guidelines Manage acute pain cases, triage urgent issues, and coordinate care for patients in outpatient, inpatient, or emergency settings Utilize EMR systems like Epic or Cerner for accurate medical records documentation, data collection, ICD coding (ICD-9/10), CPT coding, and medication management Perform procedures including suturing, phlebotomy, catheterization, airway management, and basic life support during emergency or hospital-based care Collaborate with specialists in infectious disease care, critical care units (ICU), neonatal ventilator management, and trauma centers to optimize patient outcomes Support clinical research efforts by collecting data for clinical trials or public health initiatives while adhering to research protocols and infection control standards Skills Extensive experience with EMR systems such as Epic, Cerner, or eClinicalWorks for documentation and data management Proficiency in procedures including suturing, injection administration (including Botox), phlebotomy, and basic airway management Strong knowledge of medical terminology, physiology, anatomy, ICD coding (ICD-9/10), CPT coding, and diagnostic evaluation techniques Ability to perform physical examinations accurately and assess patient needs effectively across diverse settings such as urgent care, hospital medicine, geriatrics, pediatrics, or family practice Familiarity with hospital experience including ICU or Level I/II trauma center protocols; experience with ventilator management is a plus Skilled in patient triage for acute care scenarios; adept at managing infectious diseases or post-acute care cases Experience with telehealth platforms to extend primary care services remotely while maintaining HIPAA compliance Join us to make a meaningful difference in patients' lives through compassionate care delivered with enthusiasm!
