Job Description University of Maryland Upper Chesapeake Health (UMUCH), a member of the University of Maryland Medical System (UMMS), has an opening available for a full-time BC/BE Orthopedic Surgeon, specializing in Foot and Ankle, tojoin their robust orthopedic multispecialty group located in Bel Air, MD.

Job Specifics:

UM Upper Chesapeake Medical Center Bel Air was named one of America's 100 Best hospitals for orthopedic surgery by Healthgrades, which evaluates quality using objective measures including clinical outcomes, patient safety, and patient experience. Position will join a multispecialty group of 7 (orthopedic surgeons spine, shoulder, hand and joint). Position is open due to present foot/ankle surgeon relocation, so physician will take over busy foot and ankle practice. Physician will have support of experienced Physician Assistant who enjoys foot and ankle surgery. Surgeon should specialize in ankle reconstruction, arthroscopy, plantar fasciitis, bunionectomies, Achilles tendon repair, hammertoes, Mortons neuroma and other foot and ankle issues. Position will be primarily based on the campus of Upper Chesapeake Medical Center in Bel Air, MD. Ideal work environment Monday through Friday day shift, with a very manageable call rotation shared among other providers, fostering a healthy work/life balance!
