Full Time Johns Hopkins Community Physicians (JHCP) is looking for a qualified Intensivist to join Suburban Hospital in Bethesda, Maryland to provide physician services to hospital patients. Weekend and holiday rotations required. Evening or night shifts may be required, depending on staff availability. JHCP Bethesda, MarylandMoonlighter, Rotating Shift , Hours VariesEvaluate patients for admission to the hospitalist service. Respond to nursing/pharmacy pages related to intensivist service. Order tests, medications and treatments. Consult with specialists regarding patient matters. Oversee the direction and treatment of patients. Document and code treatment in patient medical records. Report to the oncoming intensivist physician regarding developments during previous shift. Submit documentation of procedures for billing purposes. Report complaints or criticisms regarding intensivist services to the risk management office. Perform other related duties as assigned.

Completion of residency program in Internal Medicine. Possession of, or eligibility for, Maryland medical license.

Salary Range:
Compensation will be commensurate with equity and experience for roles of similar scope and responsibility. In cases w the range is displayed as a $0 amount, salary discussions will occur during candidate screening calls, before any subsequent compensation discussion is held between the candidate and any hiring authority.
