Position Details Will be employed by Central Maine Medical Center, a Prime Healthcare affiliated hospital. Hospital-based role providing comprehensive inpatient and outpatient gastroenterology care. Gastroenterology (BC or BE). Perform diagnostic and therapeutic endoscopic procedures including EGD, colonoscopy, biopsy, polypectomy, hemostasis, dilation, and PEG placement. Diagnose and manage gastrointestinal conditions including IBD, GERD, liver disease and hepatitis, pancreatic disorders, and GI bleeding. Collaborate with hospitalists, surgeons, oncology, radiology, and primary care teams. Participate in call scheduling, quality improvement, peer review, and patient safety initiatives.
