Position Details Hospital-employed position at Central Maine Medical Center, a designated trauma center in central Maine. Full-time, on-site Orthopedic Surgery role. Orthopedic Surgery (BC or BE); fellowship training in Orthopedic Trauma and/or Adult Reconstruction/Total Joint Arthroplasty preferred. Provide comprehensive orthopedic trauma care including fractures, dislocations, and musculoskeletal emergencies. Perform primary and revision total joint arthroplasties including hip and knee replacements. Provide pre-operative evaluation, surgical intervention, and post-operative follow-up care. Participate in orthopedic trauma call coverage. Collaborate with emergency medicine, ICU, rehabilitation, PAs/NPs, physical therapy, and ancillary services.
