Competitive salary + incentives Health, dental, and vision insurance 403(b) with employer contribution & match Retirement savings plans (403b & 457) Malpractice insurance with tail coverage Requirements Board Certified or Board Eligible in Addiction Medicine by completing an ACGME- approved Addiction Medicine Fellowship Active Michigan medical license (or ability to obtain) DEA license BLS certification (must be maintained)/ ACLS/BLS certification (must be maintained) Duties & Responsibilities A typical day may include: Providing direct patient care Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams Participating in teaching and mentoring Documenting in Epic EMR Engaging in quality improvement initiatives Supporting community health efforts IHA has an excellent full-time employment opportunity for an Addiction Medicine Physician. The selected Addiction Medicine Physician will join a group practice that will assist a large multispecialty health system in caring for patients with addiction and related issues. The provider will spend time primarily in Oakland, MI, but as part of a larger team, may occasionally cover our other locations. Interest or prior work caring for patients with substance use disorder is recommended. This opportunity is primarily focused on the outpatient setting and consultation on the inpatient service of a large community hospital.
