Inpatient Child and Adolescent Psychiatrist, Academic Affiliation - Appointment

(Physician/MD qualifications required) Psychiatry (Child and Adolescent) - An academically affiliated nonprofit, behavioral health system is looking for a highly qualified Staff Psychiatrist interested in joining a medical staff of over 80 collegial psychiatrists for our inpatient psychiatric services for children and adolescent patients. Duties may include clinical admission evaluations, subsequent cares, and discharges from the hospital unit with corresponding and timely documentation; court hearings; supervision of Advanced Practice Professionals (if mutually agreed upon). Health System is the Fourth largest behavioral health provider in the United States. Offers a full continuum of services for children, adolescents, adults and seniors. Designated as a teaching hospital by the Center for Medicare and Medicaid Services with educational programs in the behavioral health field at bachelors, masters, doctoral, residency and fellowship levels.
