What You'll Do Provide hospitalist night-time call coverage only for inpatient needs Respond to calls as needed and be available for admission/callbacks Maintain patient care within the facility's inpatient workflow and standards Coordinate with on-site teams to support safe transitions of care Manage an average inpatient census of 15 (and ~2 admits per night , on average) Support timely admissions when needed (must be able to arrive within 20 minutes if called for admission) Complete required on-site orientation prior to first coverage date What You Need Required US Board Certified Active Michigan (MI) license Active MI controlled substance license Active DEA Ability to be within 20 minutes to admit if needed and available for calls Ability to complete on-site orientation 1 day prior to coverage Preferred Not specified About the Assignment This role provides hospitalist night-time call coverage at a leading facility in Hancock, MI, supporting inpatient care for an average census of 15 and approximately 2 admissions per night.
