Job Description

Dermatology Opening in Jackson, MIDetroit 70mSeeking a Dermatologist to build and lead a dynamic dermatology practice. This is a full-time, permanent opportunity focused primarily on medical dermatology, with room to expand cosmetic offerings if desired.
Start Date:
As soon as possible (allow 90 days for credentialing)
Setting:
Outpatient, clinic-based only Reason for
Opening:
Reopening of the dermatology practice
Schedule:
Monday-Friday, flexible schedule Minimum 36 patient care hours + 4 administrative hours weekly No weekends or on-call responsibilities
Practice Details Case Mix:
90% medical dermatology / 10% cosmetic (cosmetic services can grow with provider interest)
Procedure Volume:
80% of visits involve procedures (e.g., skin tags, biopsies, skin cancer)
Patient Flow:
4-5 patients/hour (3-4 involve procedures)
Trauma Level:
Level 2 hospital nearby
EMR:
Epic Strong work-life balance and administrative supportRequirements Board Certified or Board Eligible in Dermatology (must become BC within 3 years of graduation) Active Michigan medical license or willingness to obtain BLS certification
DEA, CSR/CDS
