The Children s Hospital at Bronson Methodist Hospital in Kalamazoo, MI is actively seeking a BE/BC full-time Newborn and Pediatric Hospitalist.

Position Highlights:

The physician will be covering Level One newborn nurseries at both Bronson Methodist Hospital and Bronson Battle Creek Hospital. Primarily a Newborn Hospitalist role with part-time coverage with the Pediatric Hospitalist service line Responsibilities include attendance at high risk deliveries, newborn stabilization and assessment, daily rounding and management of stable newborns, supervising Advanced Practice Providers and training residents and medical students. Maintenance of CPR and NRP are also required. The Pediatric Medicine Hospital Specialists consists of 10 Pediatric Hospitalists. Clinical responsibilities include general pediatric inpatient care and sedation services. Educational responsibilities include; clinical teaching of pediatric, family medicine and emergency medicine residents with 24/7 resident coverage.
