About the Job Hospitalist Nurse Practitioner (NP) Join a dedicated inpatient team at a premier Michigan facility, providing high-quality care with a predictable, balanced schedule. This long-term locum assignment features a highly desirable block schedule with robust nighttime support staff, allowing you to focus purely on adult inpatient care without ICU responsibilities.
Opportunity Highlights Predictable, Balanced Schedule:
Enjoy an attractive 7-on / 7-off rotation working 12-hour night shifts ($7:00\text{ PM}- 7:00\text{ AM}$).
Robust Nighttime Support:
Work alongside a full support team, including Advanced Practice Provider (APP) nighttime coverage and an on-site Nocturnist Physician.Streamlined Scope:
Focus strictly on Adult Inpatient Care with no ICU/CCU responsibilities or procedures required.Modern Facility Work:
Utilize Cerner EHR in a well-structured hospital environment helping bridge a recruitment gap.Assignment Details Location:

Patient Volume:
Variable inpatient service Core Requirements for Fast-Track Presentation To ensure a seamless name-clear and presentation process, candidates must meet the following baseline criteria:Licensure & Certification:
Active Michigan State License and Board Certification as an NP Hospitalist are strictly required.Location Logistics:
Must reside in or near Michigan as a local drive-in candidateBackground Check:
A fresh Self-Query NPDB pulled within the current month must be provided at the time of presentation. Employee Health Requirement a. Flu vaccine for 24-25 season b. Covid documentation- If 24-25 booster has not been received a declination is needed c. TB
- 2 step skin test within 12 months or Quantiferon within the last 6 months d. TB Questionnaire e. Hep B
- titer with quantifiable numbers or declination f. MMR
- vaccine series or titers with quantifiable numbers g. Varicella
- vaccine series or titers with quantifiable numbers h. TDAP
- adult vaccine (within the last 10 years) Only locals are needed.
