Job Description

Job Opportunity:
Locum - Physician - Gastroenterology Join a dynamic healthcare team in Petoskey, Michigan, where you can make a difference in patient care! This practice is located within a hospital setting, offering a supportive environment with advanced services onsite. The clinic operates Monday through Friday, providing care to outpatients as well as inpatient procedures, with a well-established support staff including physicians and advanced practice providers.
Job Responsibilities:
Provide excellent patient care in a hospital clinic setting. Perform an average of 18 outpatient procedures and 20 inpatient scopes per day. Conduct endoscopy procedures and manage consults during working hours of 7am 4:30pm. Collaborate with a team including 2 physicians and 2 APPs. Utilize onsite lab and X-Ray facilities. Manage EMR documentation using Cerner software.
Qualifications:
Board Certification in Gastroenterology
REQUIRED ACLS
certification
REQUIRED
Active Michigan state license and CSR at the time of submission
REQUIRED
Minimum of 2-3 years of post-fellowship experience in Gastroenterology
REQUIRED
Clean malpractice background; no current actions
REQUIRED
Local candidates preferred
REQUIRED COVID-19
vaccination
REQUIRED
License and Certification Requirements:
All candidates must have the following: Board Certified in Gastroenterology ACLS certification Active Michigan state license and CSR Current
