Locums About the Facility This 298-bed Level II trauma facility provides inpatient urological services with established protocols to support trauma and general urological care delivery. The institution maintains appropriate resources and clinical support systems to facilitate effective urological case management. The facility is structured to ensure continuous coverage for both routine and emergency urological cases across the inpatient setting. About the Facility Location Michigan offers a range of attractions suited to diverse interests, including natural destinations such as Pictured Rocks National Lakeshore and Grand Haven Beach. Notable landmarks include Comerica Park, Ford Field, and the University of Michigan, alongside opportunities to explore the Sleeping Bear Dunes and various parks and wildlife areas throughout the state. About the Clinician's Workday The urologist will provide 24-hour call coverage with projected AM rounding of approximately 2-4 hours per day at an on-site inpatient facility in Michigan. Primary call responsibilities are focused on traumatic urology cases, requiring continuous availability for urgent urological interventions during each assigned shift. The position operates on a 1:1 call ratio, and board certification in Urology is required for this assignment. Clinicians must maintain on-site presence throughout all assigned coverage periods.
