Job Description

The physician will practice general endocrinology with the ability to teach and participate in clinical research. The clinic receives a wide variety of cases which makes for a well-rounded and diverse practice. The practice is comprised of about 40% diabetes and rest is general endocrine including thyroid. There is one advanced practice providers who rotates between Henry Ford Providence Novi and Southfield. Henry Ford Providence Novi and Southfield has one dietitian and nurse educator at each location. Each physician is assigned a primary location and may be asked to split time to cover additional locations as needed. Practice at 2 locations, Henry Ford Providence Novi and Henry Ford Providence Southfield, with rounding coverage at both of these hospitals Schedule includes five days per week working at any location assigned. New providers are eased into clinic and do not have a full schedule right away. The physician will work 16-18 days of clinic per month, seeing 18-22 patients per day. Call is evenly distributed amongst the four staff physicians Must have completed an
ACGME/AOA
approved Internal Medicine residency program. Must have completed or currently completing an
ACGME/AOA
approved Endocrinology fellowship program
