Hospitalist PA/NP
  • Grand Rapids, MI
  • Night Shift University of Michigan Health-West is seeking a full time, board eligible/board certified, Advanced Practice Provider to join our Internal Medicine Hospitalist team.
High caliber, quality focused, innovative providers should apply to join our employed team to expand and provide care to local communities. Provider will be performing full spectrum of inpatient care for patients, from admission to discharge apart from ICU patients. Advanced Practice Providers are responsible for evaluating patients, diagnosing, and treating health conditions with an added emphasis on disease prevention and health management. Candidate will also need to coordinate and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure a positive experience for all patients, families, and staff. MISSION, VISION, VALUES and

OPPORTUNITY DETAILS
Night shift; 7pm
  • 7am 1:3 weekend rotation with 2 holidays per year Ability to work 12-hour shifts, no call requirement; no ICU patients Expansive medical and surgical specialty services employed through UMHW including Cardiothoracic, Thoracic, General Surgery, Neurosurgery, Orthopedics, ENT, Neurovascular, Hematology/Oncology Comprehensive stroke program Academic hybrid setting 208 inpatient beds; Level II trauma center; 24/7 coverage Health system employed model, offering a highly market competitive compensation plan Full benefit package Malpractice coverage CME Partnering team of specialists
