Job Description

Emplify Health, is seeking a skilled and compassionate General Surgeon to join our team at the Wabasha or Winona locations. This is an exciting opportunity to practice in a supportive, collaborative environment serving communities across Wisconsin, Iowa, Minnesota.
Position Highlights:
  • Full-time General Surgeon role with a diverse surgical caseload including scopes, and a mix of general surgery cases to offer the appeal of a well-rounded practice
  • Practice at well-equipped facilities in Wabasha, Winona, and Whitehall, offering a balanced mix of inpatient and outpatient care
  • Practice state of the art medicine and connect with the entire Emplify Health System with digital radiology, telemedicine, and an integrated medical record (EPIC)
  • Our surgeons use the latest in technology, including daVinci Robot system to provide world-class care (where available)
  • Potential for additional focused practice opportunities and outreach to our critical access hospitals

Qualifications:
  • Board-certified or board-eligible in General Surgery
  • Licensed or eligible for licensure in Minnesota and Wisconsin.
  • Commitment to delivering compassionate, evidence-based care
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team
  • Desire to practice rural general surgery providing necessary care close to home

Teaching students, residents, fellows or clinical staff is cornerstone to our Medical Education philosophy and an expectation of all medical staff.
