Job Description
CMH is recruiting for a BE/BC Emergency Medicine Physician for its newly expanded ED. About CMH Citizens Memorial Hospital is an independently owned rural health system serving more than 130,000 residents across eight counties in Southwest Missouri. Physicians here have genuine clinical autonomy and a real voice in the care provided. The Opportunity This position can include both clinic emergency medicine shifts coupled with EMS medical director responsibilities. The newly expanded 29-bed ED opened in April 2026 and was built to improve patient flow and reduce the volume pressure that burns out EM physicians in smaller facilities. 144 hours/month standard, flexible shift combinations Majority day and swing shifts available Full time Nocturnist position is also an option 24/7 in-house hospitalist team Great surgical and sub-specialty support Balanced, sustainable volumes with strong nurse and tech staffing Annual physician quality bonus
