Locum Emergency Medicine Physician - Independence, MO Hourly + Travel Expenses Position specific questions Reason for the need? New facility. Variable. o If call is involved, what is call volume? How often do they get called back on-site? N/A. o Call/Rotation schedule? N/A. Will they take an APP (or SFA when applicable)? No (may change based on future needs). What are expectations for orientation? Hospital orientation. Shadow shift. Candidate Parameters Any specific fellowships/certifications/procedures/competencies we are looking for? No. Experience level?

board certified/eligible. Hospital/unit questions Number of beds? Census? TBD. Estimated 18 pts/day. How many daily admissions? TBD. Are there any consults and if so, how many per day? TBD. What s the patient population? Suburban. Trauma center? Types of cases? Acuity? Non-trauma center. What does the support staff look like? RN x1. Imaging tech x1. How will follow up cases be handled?
