This healthcare facility is a well-established medical center providing comprehensive pediatric and neonatal services to the region. The facility features a 10-bed department with advanced NICU capabilities and state-of-the-art equipment to support complex pediatric and neonatal cases.
Opportunity:
Physician - Pediatrics -
Neonatal-Perinatal Medicine Job Details:
  • Provide specialized neonatal-perinatal medicine services with 3-5 patient encounters per shift
  • Manage Level
III NICU
cases with advanced life support capabilities
  • Perform invasive and non-invasive ventilation management for newborns and pediatric patients
  • Handle acute and chronic ventilation cases including use of nitric oxide (iNO)
  • Conduct intubation procedures for newborns and pediatric patients
  • Perform central line, arterial line, UVC, and UAC procedures
  • Execute diagnostic and therapeutic procedures including lumbar puncture, paracentesis, thoracentesis
  • Manage chest tube insertion and needle pneumothorax decompression
  • Provide exchange transfusions and hemodialysis catheter placement
  • Evaluate and manage acute volume/BP issues with PA catheter insertion
  • Interpret X-rays and EKGs including PA catheter readings
  • Attend high-risk C-sections as required
  • Perform suturing of minor lacerations
  • Must be board certified in Pediatrics with fellowship training in Neonatal-Perinatal Medicine
  • PALS certification required
  • Must hold Mississippi medical license or IMLC eligibility
  • Credentialing timeframe approximately 7 days
Compensation:
Competitive hourly rates with weekly pay and malpractice included.
