Job Description

Position Summary As a Physician, you will play a crucial role in providing primary care services to patients, diagnosing and treating a variety of medical conditions, and promoting overall wellness. The ideal candidate will have excellent clinical skills, a patient-centered approach, and a commitment to delivering high-quality healthcare services.
Patient Care:
Conduct comprehensive physical examinations and medical assessments. Diagnose and treat a wide range of acute and chronic illnesses. Develop and implement individualized treatment plans for patients. Prescribe medications and monitor patient response. Provide preventive care, health education, and counseling to patients.
Clinical Excellence:
Stay updated on the latest medical advancements and best practices. Ensure compliance with established clinical protocols and standards. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to optimize patient care.
Patient Advocacy:
Advocate for patients' needs and coordinate with other healthcare providers as necessary. Participate in patient education programs to promote health and wellness.
Documentation and Record Keeping:
Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records. Document patient assessments, diagnoses, treatment plans, and outcomes.
Team Collaboration:
Collaborate with nurses, medical assistants, and administrative staff to ensure seamless patient care. Participate in regular team meetings and contribute to a positive and collaborative work environment.
Continuing Education:
Engage in ongoing professional development activities. Attend conferences, workshops, and training sessions to stay informed about advancements in the medical field. Position Qualifications Minimum Education Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree from an accredited medical school. Experience Previous experience required. Familiarity with electronic health records (EHR) systems. Required Registration/License/Certification Board certification in the relevant specialty. Current state medical license. DEA registration. Basic Life Support issued by the American Heart Association is required at time of hire. Providers working in the Inpatient or Surgical Services setting is required to have Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) issued by the American Heart Association at time of hire. Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Strong clinical skills and proficiency in medical procedures. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment. Commitment to providing patient-centered and compassionate care. Up-to-date knowledge of medical advancements, best practices, and industry standards. Familiarity with preventive care, health education, and counseling techniques. Competence in utilizing electronic health records (EHR) and other relevant software. Physical Demands Ability to stand, walk, and move throughout the clinic/hospital. Manual dexterity and visual acuity for performing medical procedures and examining patients. Ability to lift and carry medical equipment and supplies as needed. Working Conditions Fast-paced clinical setting with exposure to infectious diseases. Collaborative and team-oriented atmosphere. Occasional evening or weekend shifts may be required. Adherence to infection control protocols and other safety measures. Compliance with regulatory requirements and organizational policies.
