Experience:
Prior Emergency Department experience preferred Pay & Benefits Pay rate: $1.00/hour (rate may vary based on assignment specifics) Weekly pay schedule via direct deposit Comprehensive medical benefits (W-2) Robust referral bonus program Paid sick time in accordance with applicable laws Licensure, certification, travel, and other reimbursements (travel costs capped at $500) What You'll Do Provide solo emergency room coverage during assigned shifts Evaluate and treat patients presenting with a variety of acute conditions Document patient encounters accurately in Meditech 6.1 EMR Manage an open ICU with a team of physicians and mid-level providers Collaborate with hospital staff to ensure quality patient care See approximately 18-20 patients per 12-hour shift Participate in hospital protocols and procedures What You Need Active medical license in North Carolina NC Medicaid credentialing and PECOS enrollment Emergency Medicine experience Strong clinical judgment and excellent communication skills Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment About the Assignment This assignment is located at a leading hospital in Clinton, NC, featuring open ICU coverage and a patient volume of approximately 90-100 patients per day. Providers will be housed in hospital-owned apartments and will deliver high-quality emergency care to a diverse patient population. Travel expenses are capped at $500.
