Description UNC Family Medicine at Southpoint UNC Family Medicine at Southpoint is hiring a Physician! UNC Family Medicine at Southpoint offers the full spectrum of family-centered medical care. In addition to preventative services, they offer a wide range of acute-care and in-office procedures at convenient times for families and working professionals Trust, open communication, and understanding between patients and physicians provide a healing and therapeutic relationship. Southpoint's priority is helping patients realize their goals for health and well-being.
Services:
Adult and geriatric care Bone Health Cardiac Care Cholesterol management In-office procedures Diabetic Care and education Gynecological and obstetrical care Prenatal Care Preventative Medicine Sick visits Well-child visits Asthma management
Hours:
Monday, Wednesday, Friday 8:00am - 5:00pm Tuesday and Thursday 7:00am - 5:00pm UNC Health Medical Group (UNCHMG) includes primary care physicians, as well as physicians in a wide range of specialties and sub-specialties. Education Requirements:
Meeting the Board Certification requirements. Graduation from an accredited school of medicine.
Licensure/Certification Requirements:
DEA;ACLS;
MD Knowledge/Skills/and Abilities Requirements:
Language Skills:
Should be able to communicate proficiently in English.
REASONING ABILITY
High-level quantitative and qualitative reasoning skills are essential in order to diagnose medical and clinical issues presented by patients.
CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS
North Carolina Medical License, DEA License, BLS/ACLS certification preferred. Board certified in Internal Medicine.
