Cardiology opening in North CarolinaFull timeElizabeth City, NC Invasive Non-Interventional Cardiologist Join a collaborative, patient-focused cardiovascular program serving a regional community Balanced mix of inpatient and outpatient cardiology responsibilities Perform diagnostic cardiac catheterizations and transesophageal echocardiography (TEE) Inpatient rounding 3-4 days per week (7:00 AM - 5:00 PM) with advanced practice provider support Outpatient clinic 1-2 days per week (8:00 AM - 5:00 PM) Average clinic volume of approximately 20 patients per day Participate in a 1:4 call rotation with a sustainable schedule Work within an integrated care model with strong team collaboration and established referral base Opportunity to practice in a newly built, state-of-the-art medical facility Qualifications Board Certified or Board Eligible in Cardiovascular Medicine Experience with nuclear stress testing Experience with non-invasive vascular studies (NIV) and echocardiography J-1 visa sponsorship available Compensation & Benefits Nationally competitive compensation package Sign-on, commencement, and retention bonuses Comprehensive benefits including health, dental, vision, and disability coverage Retirement plans (403b/401a) with employer matching contributions Malpractice insurance with tail coverage Paid licensure renewals $7,500 annual CME allowance Generous physician time off Fully integrated electronic health record system (Epic) Eligible employer for Public Service Loan Forgiveness (501(c)(3) nonprofit) Location & Lifestyle Coastal community offering access to waterfront living and outdoor recreation Affordable cost of living with a strong sense of community Modern healthcare environment with updated facilities and advanced technology
