Hickory, NC Job Type:
Full-time An established cardiovascular program in western North Carolina is seeking a Board Certified or Board Eligible Cardiothoracic Surgeon to join its growing hospital-employed team. This opportunity offers a full spectrum of adult cardiac and thoracic surgery, strong cardiology support, and the ability to practice within a highly developed heart program serving a large regional population.
  • Join an established cardiovascular surgery team alongside two experienced CV surgeons
  • Full scope adult cardiothoracic and cardiovascular surgery including CABG, valve procedures, TEVAR, TAVR, and aortic surgery
  • Integrated heart program with Interventional Cardiology, Structural Heart, Electrophysiology, and Cardiovascular Surgery services
  • Shared 1:3 call schedule with strong cardiovascular support infrastructure

  • MD or DO
  • Board Certified or Board Eligible in Cardiothoracic Surgery or Cardiovascular Surgery
  • Active or eligible North Carolina medical license and DEA certification
  • Fellowship training in Cardiothoracic Surgery required
