Job Description

Novant Health Medical Group is seeking a compassionate and patient-centered Neuro Advanced Practice Provider (NP or PA) to join our growing outpatient neurology team in Kernersville, NC . This position offers the opportunity to work alongside experienced neurology providers in a collaborative, supportive environment focused on exceptional patient care and professional growth. This is an excellent opportunity for both experienced APPs and motivated new graduates with a neurology background or strong interest in neuroscience care.
Position Highlights Location:
Kernersville Neurology 1730
Kernersville Medical Parkway, Kernersville, NC Practice Setting:
100% outpatient neurology
Schedule:
Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM-5:00 PM 36 clinical hours per week
Call Rotation:
Clinic-based neurology call approximately once every 3 months No inpatient or onsite call responsibilities at
Kernersville Medical Center Weekend/Holiday Coverage:
Only as needed for call rotation
Team Structure:
Join a collaborative team of 2 physicians and 2 APPs with extensive neurology experience
Training & Support:
Strong onboarding and onsite mentorship available
Work-Life Balance:

The APP will perform comprehensive neurological evaluations, provide stroke and neurological follow-up care, develop and implement treatment plans, and collaborate closely with the interdisciplinary neurology team to ensure continuity and excellence in patient care.
What We're Looking For Qualifications Education:
Master's degree required. Graduate of an NCCPA-accredited Physician Assistant program required.
Experience:
Open to both experienced providers and motivated new graduates with neurology exposure or related clinical background.
Licensure/Certification:
Current PA license in the applicable state required NCCPA certification required Current DEA registration required Additional Skills & Qualifications Ability to successfully complete organization-wide and department-specific competency validation and skills assessments Strong interpersonal, communication, and customer service skills Ability to collaborate effectively with physicians, APPs, leadership, and interdisciplinary care teams Commitment to delivering compassionate, patient-centered care in a fast-paced clinical environment Additional specialty-specific training and onboarding support provided onsite as needed Job Opening
