Locums About the Facility This health system operates an established outpatient OB/GYN practice providing comprehensive women's health services in North Carolina. The practice supports a clinical team of 27 physicians and 9 Advanced Practice Providers delivering a full range of gynecologic care. The facility is structured to support high-volume outpatient operations with a structured appointment model. About the Facility Location Top sights in Eastern North Carolina to see include the Biltmore, Great Smoky Mountains National Park, and the North Carolina Zoo! About the Clinician's Workday The physician associate will provide outpatient OB/GYN coverage Monday through Friday from 7:50 AM to 5:00 PM, managing 20-22 patients per day within an established practice of 27 physicians and 9 Advanced Practice Providers. Clinic scheduling includes 30-minute appointments for new patients and 15-minute appointments for returning patients, with 2 new patient slots per half day. Clinical responsibilities encompass routine GYN care, annual visits, postpartum visits, abnormal uterine bleeding, post-menopausal bleeding, non-complex ovarian cysts, colposcopy, and LEEP procedures, as well as other simple in-office GYN procedures for adequately experienced clinicians. No call is required, and the clinician will be expected to respond to codes on-site.
