05/06/2026 Become part of a collaborative, highly skilled team of physicians and APPs seeking a dedicated Electrophysiology (EP) Cardiologist to join a busy and expanding Cath Lab. Comprehensive services include Interventional, Non-Invasive, Electrophysiology, Structural Heart, and Advanced Heart Failure care. 100% EP with a Monday to Friday work schedule, including 3-4 days in the lab with 1-2 days in the outpatient clinic. No nights, weekends or call responsibilities. Non-profit, UNC-affiliated community hospital, serving as a regional referral center for the surrounding areas. Recognized for award-winning Heart & Stroke Care and accredited as a Chest Pain Center. Financial package includes base salary along with quality and production incentives Full HR benefits, paid malpractice including tail coverage, 6 weeks PTO, annual CME allowance, and a generous recruitment package.
Responsibilities:
1. Provides professional medical services to patients. 2. Exercises independent professional judgment in the care and treatment of patients. 3. Orders and prescribes medical treatment, diagnostic testing, nursing care, and other health and medical services. Prescribes medically appropriate pharmaceuticals. 4. Consults and counsels with patients and families. Provides health and medical education to patients and families. 5. Refers patients as needed to appropriate medical specialists and other health care professionals to assure appropriate multidisciplinary care is provided. 6. Documents medical and clinical care in the patient's medical record. Assigns the appropriate diagnostic and procedural codes to permit third-party insurance billing. 7. Supervises other medical professionals. 8. Adheres to the principles of medical ethics.

? Graduation from an accredited school of medicine and completion of an ACGME-certified fellowship program.
Licensure/Certification Requirements:
? Board Certified in Cardiology ? DEA; MD ? ACLS
Professional Experience Requirements:
? Prefer prior experience in Cardiology.
Knowledge/Skills/and Abilities Requirements:

Language Skills:
Should be able to communicate proficiently in English.
Reasoning Ability:
high-level quantitative and qualitative reasoning skills required to diagnose and treat patients.
Certificates, Licenses, Registrations:
NC medical license, DEA License, BLS/ACLS certification required. Board certification in critical care medicine.
