Shape the Future of Emergency Medicine-Join Salisbury VA Health Care System! We are looking for a full-time Emergency Medicine Physician! Position Highlights:
Provide state-of-the-art emergency care to Veterans Lead process improvements to enhance patient outcomes and hospital standards Mentor and teach students and residents, shaping future clinicians Engage in ongoing professional development with strong academic affiliations
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver comprehensive emergency medical assessments, diagnostics, and treatments Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure quality, safety, and compliance Perform evaluations, interpret tests, and make critical treatment decisions aligned with VA best practices
Qualifications:
Degree of Doctor of Medicine or an equivalent degree resulting from a course of education in medicine or osteopathic medicine Unrestricted medical license in any U.S. state or territory Completion of an accredited residency in a core specialty U.S. Citizenship (non-citizens considered only if qualified citizens are unavailable) Board Certification or Eligibility in
Emergency Medicine Preferred Experience:
Board Certification in Emergency Medicine Board Certification in Family or Internal Medicine with ED experience
What We Offer:
Competitive Salary:
$225,000-330,000 Plus performance bonuses and regular raises
Generous Paid Leave:
50-55 days annually, including vacation, sick leave, holidays, and CME days

Up to $2,500 per year

Work Schedule:
Six 12-hour shifts and one 8-hour shift per pay period, with no call duties
