Not Provided Locum tenens Physician Assistant opportunity in Wilmington, NC (28104) covering inpatient neurology from July 1, 2026 to December 31, 2026 to assist with scheduling needs. This clinical-only role supports an average daily census of 15-20 patients with assigned rounding responsibilities. Responsibilities include performing comprehensive neurological assessments for consults and admissions, conducting daily rounds and progress documentation, ordering and interpreting diagnostic studies (EEG, MRI, CT, lumbar puncture), coordinating care with supervising neurologists, nursing, and interdisciplinary teams, and documenting all encounters, procedures, and discharge summaries in Epic. Candidates must hold NC licensure or a universal (IMLC) license and maintain BLS and ACLS certifications. Board certification is not required. Agency will cover travel, lodging, and malpractice insurance. Hospital privileges or temporary privileges are not required/available.
