Benefits Full-time employees receive a comprehensive benefits package, including: Medical, dental, and vision insurance Life insurance Short-term and long-term disability coverage 401(k) with profit sharing Voluntary benefits, including supplemental life insurance and medical bridge plans Paid time off and paid holidays Part-time employees receive a reduced benefits package, including: Pro-rated PTO and holidays 401(k) contributions for those working 1,000 hours annually Position Summary Obtains, verifies, and records health history of patients Collects specimens for laboratory analysis Provides patient care as ordered Administers medications and treatments as directed Captures and records date of last colonoscopy or lack of Documents care provided or procedures performed accurately on patient records Assists other health care professionals in performing exams, diagnostic procedures and treatments and minor medical procedures Adheres to infection control/safety guidelines and confidentiality policies Participates in implementing the plan of care per provider orders Follows set protocols/standing orders/algorithms/decision trees established by the physician Documents interventions, patient/family responses, medication dispensed/prescribed, and test results in medical records Promotes wellness by providing patient education materials, communicating physician advice/instructions Attends monthly staff meetings Reports errors of commission or omission, injuries and illnesses and adverse events to supervisor or management Proactively protects GAP's systems, databases and network by being vigilant with safe cyber security practices Participates in in-services and continuing education to maintain knowledge and skills Performs other duties as assigned GAP is an equal opportunity employer.
Requirements:
The CMA or RMA is currently certified or registered in North Carolina, administering quality clinical care to patients. Experience preferred. The right candidate should have a broad knowledge of clinical functions and the ability to apply clinical skills and techniques. Computer skills and Epic experience also preferred. Bilingual skills a plus.
