Job Summary:

Box Butte General Hospital is seeking a dedicated and experienced Emergency Medicine Physician to join our team as a clinician of our Emergency Department. In this role, you will evaluate, manage, stabilize, and triage patients in accordance with medical protocols, Nebraska Statutes, and Federal Regulations. You will be responsible for delivering high-quality emergency care, including life-saving interventions, diagnostic evaluations, and coordination with other medical professionals.

Key Responsibilities:

Clinical Duties:

Provide emergency medical care to patients of all ages. Perform life-saving procedures in a dynamic Emergency Department. Triage and stabilize patients with life-threatening conditions. Order and interpret diagnostic tests. Develop and implement care plans. Admit patients and write orders. Collaborate with specialists and document all care provided.

Qualifications:

Education:

Doctorate in Medicine (MD or DO).

Licensure:

Valid Nebraska medical license.

Certification:

Board Certified in Emergency Medicine or Board Certified in Family Medicine with ED experience. DEA Certification.

Experience:

Proven clinical skills as a career emergency medicine physician.

Other Requirements:
