Job Description

Description This contract position is on-site, providing an excellent opportunity for healthcare professionals looking to make a significant impact in patient care within the medical field. As a Locum MD in Otolaryngology, you will play a crucial role in diagnosing and treating patients with ear, nose, and throat disorders. Your expertise will contribute to enhancing the quality of care we provide, ensuring that patients receive comprehensive and compassionate treatment. Responsibilities Conduct thorough evaluations and assessments of patients with ENT-related issues Develop and implement effective treatment plans for various otolaryngological conditions Perform surgical procedures as needed, adhering to safety and quality standards Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care Maintain accurate and detailed patient records Provide education and support to patients and their families Stay updated with the latest advancements in otolaryngology Participate in case discussions and multidisciplinary meetings Requirements MD degree from an accredited medical school Valid medical license to practice in the state of Kearney Experience in Otolaryngology is preferred Strong clinical and diagnostic skills Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment Commitment to providing high-quality patient care Willingness to collaborate with a diverse team of medical professionals
Level II Trauma Center Schedule:
24-hour call shifts, specific dates
Patient Census:
2-4 per day
Required Procedures:
Adenoidectomy, audiogram, lump/tumor removal, and tonsillectomy
Support Staff:
Anesthesiologists, CRNAs, and the surgery department
EMR:
Epic Must be board-certified Paid travel & expenses
