Anesthesiologist Opportunity in Dover, NH Mass General Brigham is seeking a skilled and compassionate Anesthesiologist to join our team at Wentworth-Douglass Hospital. What You'll Do:
Independently administer anesthesia for surgical, diagnostic, and therapeutic procedures. Supervise CRNAs Preoperative optimization in collaboration with our Surgical Optimization Center Monitor patients before, during, and after anesthesia to ensure safety and optimal outcomes. Develop and implement individualized anesthesia plans based on patient needs. Collaborate with surgeons, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive perioperative care. Participate in quality improvement initiatives and maintain compliance with hospital and regulatory standards.

Four ten-hour shifts per week
Call:
Weekend call averages 8 weekends per year, 12-hr shifts
Team Structure:
Work closely with CRNAs, supervising an average of 3 CRNAs per shift
Case Types:
Broad variety of bread-and-butter anesthesia cases; includes healthy pediatrics, obstetrics, no cardiac, and no neurosurgical cases
Group Size:
Join a collegial team of 16 Anesthesiologists and 15 CRNAS, some of whom also practice in chronic pain management
Pain Subspecialty:
Opportunity to practice chronic pain management if desired
Required Skills:
Strong skills in regional and obstetrical anesthesia are preferred
Qualifications:
Medical Degree (MD or DO) from an accredited institution. Completion of a four-year Anesthesiology residency program. Board Certified or Board Eligible in Anesthesiology by the American Board of Anesthesiology; new graduates are welcome to apply New Hampshire medical license or eligibility to obtain one Why Choose Mass General Brigham? Actual compensation will be determined during the selection process and is based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to relevant experience, education, and internal equity.
