Pediatric Emergency Department Profile:
69,000 annual Emergency department visits with 24,000 annual Pediatric visits 14-bed PEDS ED with 11 private rooms and Pediatric Fast Track area 54 bed Level 3 NICU 8-bed PICU/8 Stepdown beds 1:1 Scribe coverage Full complement of Pediatric subspecialists on site Paragon EMR system Temporary privileges can be granted after the MEC meeting w/ approval of the Medical Director.

eligible Physicians, if requested for Moderate Sedation, need an ACLS certification always and PALS only if PEDS Boarded and have requesting
Moderate Sedation Submission Requirements:
Must have NJ license and DEA at time of presentation Must have clean file Must submit EPA and if any yes questions, send NPDB A complete file is needed to grant temporary privileges. Temporary privileges can be granted after the Credentials meeting
Certification Requirements:
ACLS BLS
Board Certified
DEA PALS
