Unit Overview The Department of EM at Cooper University Health care is a dynamic clinical department that provides high quality patient-centric emergency care to our community. As part of CUES (Center for Emergent and Urgent Services) for Cooper, we have an expansive clinical, educational, and research-based focus. Our education team trains 40 EM residents, 2 EMS fellows, one education fellow and one ultrasound fellow in addition to teaching a highly rated required 4th year clerkship for every Cooper Medical School of Rowan University (CMSRU) student. The service lines have expanded to include: 3 urgent care sites, pediatric EM, EMS, toxicology, ultrasound, collaboration with addiction medicine/pain management, high quality research/grants, geriatric EM and disaster medicine. Short Description Education Requirements Provide high-quality, evidence-based patient care within the Emergency Department (or designated clinical area). Participate in quality assurance and performance improvement initiatives. Collaborate with clinical leadership to optimize patient flow, resource utilization, and operational efficiency. Maintain compliance with regulatory standards and hospital policies. Serve as a clinical resource for strategic initiatives impacting emergency and acute care services. Experience Required The applicant must have completed an ACGME accredited EM residency program and be Board eligible/board certified in EM. License/ Certification Requirements The applicant must be ABEM Board eligible or ABEM board certified. Per Diem Day
