Unit Overview Responsibility includes:
Provide comprehensive Cardiac care to patients with a wide range of conditions. Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including cardiothoracic surgery, cardio critical care, and rehabilitation. Participate in teaching medical students, residents, and fellows. Contribute to the development of subspecialty programs and services. Engage in quality improvement initiatives and clinical research as appropriate. Short Description Cooper University Health Care is seeking a Board-Certified or Board-Eligible Cardiologist to join our dynamic and growing Department of Cardiology. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality, compassionate care in both inpatient and outpatient settings and contribute to the academic mission through teaching and collaboration. We welcome Non-Invasive Cardiologists as well as those with fellowship training or interest in the following subspecialties: Advanced Cardiac Imaging Advanced Heart Failure Cardio-Obstetrics Cardio-Oncology Electrophysiology Interventional Cardiology Non-Invasive Cardiology Preventative Cardiology Sports Cardiology Structural Heart Education Requirements MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school is required License/ Certification Requirements Board Certified/Eligible in Cardiology is required Eligible for medical licensure in the state of Jersey is required Hourly Rate Min $168.57 Hourly Rate Max $347.38 The Jersey Pay Transparency Act requires disclosure of the pay range for this position. A salary offer will vary based on the job role, candidate experience, qualifications, internal pay equity and market data.
