Position Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS) for a travel assignment in a fast-paced Cardiac Catheterization Lab. This role requires a highly skilled professional capable of working independently while supporting physicians during complex interventional procedures.

Key Responsibilities:

Scrub and monitor cardiac, vascular, interventional radiology, and interventional neurology procedures Serve as first assist to physicians during invasive procedures Perform access site management, including sheath removal and post-procedure care Monitor patient condition and respond to complications during procedures Assist with admission, recovery, and discharge of both inpatient and outpatient cases Coordinate and schedule procedures for inpatients and outpatients Maintain accurate documentation and ensure compliance with clinical protocols Participate in emergency and after-hours on-call coverage

Required Qualifications:

Active RCIS (Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist) certification Minimum 1 year of recent Cath Lab experience Strong experience in: Cardiac Catheterization Lab (CCL) Interventional Radiology Interventional Neurology Ability to function independently in a high-acuity environment Experience assisting physicians during procedures Strong critical thinking and patient care skills
