Job Description

Join a well-established women's health program in Edison, NJ as a Locum Maternal-Fetal Medicine physician providing comprehensive care for high-risk pregnancies in a collaborative, multidisciplinary setting. This predominantly outpatient role features limited inpatient responsibilities and strong clinical and administrative support. Compensation $350 per hour Schedule & Practice Setting 5 days per week; 8-hour days Outpatient-focused (90% outpatient, 10% inpatient) Remote call, 1:3 rotation Clinical Responsibilities Consult on and manage high-risk obstetrical patients Perform MFM evaluations and follow-up visits Interpret and oversee advanced obstetrical ultrasounds Perform and supervise procedures including CVS and amniocentesis Collaborate with OB/GYNs, primary care providers, and specialists Participate in inpatient consultations as needed Develop treatment plans for complex maternal and fetal conditions Maintain accurate, timely documentation Typical Volume 5-6 MFM consults per day 20-25 ultrasounds per day Team & Support Partner with 2 MFM physicians and 2 advanced practice providers Dedicated onsite clinical and administrative staff Required Skills & Procedures Comfortable performing chorionic villus sampling (CVS), amniocentesis, and advanced fetal ultrasound interpretation Experience managing high-risk pregnancies and providing consultative MFM care Qualifications MD or DO Board Certified or Board Eligible in Obstetrics & Gynecology MFM experience required; fellowship training preferred but not mandatory Active New Jersey medical license Current DEA and CDS registration required This opportunity is ideal for an experienced MFM clinician seeking a primarily outpatient locum role with strong team collaboration and procedural practice.
