Job Description

Englewood Health is seeking a board certified or board eligible Neonatologist to join its neonatal care team on a per diem basis. This role is ideal for physicians who value flexibility while contributing to a high quality, collaborative NICU environment. The hospital provides advanced neonatal services and is committed to delivering exceptional, family centered care. About the Opportunity Per Diem shifts with flexible scheduling based on departmental needs Opportunities for day, night, weekend, and holiday coverage Supportive, multidisciplinary NICU team Modern facilities with advanced neonatal technology A great option for physicians seeking supplemental income or flexible work arrangements What your day will look like Provide clinical coverage for the NICU, newborn nursery, OR, etc. Manage and stabilize premature and critically ill newborns. Participate in high risk deliveries and neonatal resuscitation. Collaborate closely with neonatal nurses, respiratory therapists, pediatric subspecialists, and other members of the care team. Provide consultations for pediatricians, surgeons, obstetricians. Supervise hospitalists. Ensure accurate documentation and adherence to hospital policies and evidence based neonatal care standards. Communicate effectively with families regarding diagnosis, treatment plans, and follow up needs. Availability on-site within 30 minutes, when on-call, for clinical duties. Qualifications MD or DO degree from an accredited institution Completion of an ACGME accredited Neonatal Perinatal Medicine fellowship Board certified or board eligible in Neonatal Perinatal Medicine within two (2) years of onset of employment Valid New Jersey medical license (or eligibility to obtain one) Current Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification
DEA & NJ CDS

Minimum compensation:
$140.00 per hour
